He was the Founder & Producer of the legendary underground hip hop pioneers D.U.I Records during the 90’s to early 2000. RP’s production became a template to Detroit’s hip hop sound. The self proclaimed originator of the Detroit sound hails from the Westside of Detroit (Greenfield & Grand River) and has been making music for nearly 30 years. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of More Than a Pretty Face, a lifestyle and apparel brand dedicated to empowering women, children, and families through positive messaging, confidence-building, and self-expression.
With a passion for inspiring others, Carey created More Than a Pretty Face to challenge stereotypes and encourage people to recognize that true beauty extends far beyond physical appearance. Through innovative designs and uplifting products, her brand promotes intelligence, self-worth, creativity, and purpose.
In addition to her success in fashion and retail, Carey serves as the Head of A&R for Good Guyz Music Group, where she plays a vital role in artist development, talent scouting, project management, and strategic growth.
